The STC’s Distribution Company Training focuses on the following MOS’s in line with the Company Operations:
The STC, a leader in Logistics Training for your Warriors. At the STC we take pride in offering quality and leading edge training for sustainment units, through the use of Subject Matter Experts, training logistics warriors in a scalable full spectrum operations environment. Our instructors possess years of technical and tactical experience allowing the STC to better train your logisticians for future operations and operational adaptability.
Utilizing the latest information from the Center for Army Lessons Learned our highly skilled instructors will train your warrior logisticians on current Collective Tasks using the latest equipment. At the STC we use the principle of “train as you will fight” to establish a solid foundation for your Soldiers.
Week one of your rotation focuses on refresher training with existing equipment and, when requested, an introduction to new equipment. Your Soldiers conduct their technical training in a tactical environment in order to encompass the Unified Land Operations (ULO) concept.
At the end of the first week we will give the leadership an operations order which will lead to the culminating event for week two, a 3-day field training exercise. This will provide trainers and unit leaders an opportunity to evaluate the Soldiers and look for areas that may need improvement.
Motor Transport Operators, 88M’s, are the backbone of the Army’s support and sustainment structure, providing advanced mobility on and off the battlefield. The STC has a variety of equipment available to meet your units MTOE needs.
88M instructors will cover every task you see on the battlefield today. Your 88M’s will become proficient in convoy operations on varied terrain and roadways all while conducting mounted land navigation techniques. They will learn to properly manage their loads including cargo and personnel to ensure safety at all times. The STC instructors integrate the basics of PMCSing and inventorying vehicles with the use of truck rodeo training to enforce the always ready approach. However, no matter how ready your vehicle might be, there is always a chance that it could break down. The STC instructors teach basic self-recovery and field expedient repairs to include towing vehicles.
The storage and handling of ammunition, explosives, and their associated components must be performed with accuracy to ensure safety. Here at the STC we have knowledgeable staff to train your Soldiers the responsibility of receiving, storing, and issuing conventional ammunition, guided missiles, large rockets, explosives and other ammunition related items.
With our training your Soldiers will gain more knowledge in many tasks such as operating computer hardware and software for accounting procedures, conduct manual or automated ammunition supply stock control and accounting duties, and possibly load explosives and ammunition on aircraft.
A combat unit is only as strong as its supply line. If a Soldier doesn’t have proper supplies to carry out the mission then the mission can fail. We provide your Automated Logistical Specialists with quality training in both a warehouse and tactical environment. Your 92A’s will learn the best practices in maintaining and distributing the Army’s large inventory of food, ammunition, spare parts, and other supplies.
Your logistics specialists have a great opportunity for training at the STC’s Supply Support Activity (SSA) as well as field training. They will process requests, conduct turn-ins, process inventories, perform prescribed load list (PLL) and shop stock list (SSL) duties, prepare and annotate shipping documents, conduct Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) operations, operate the Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Aircraft, trucks, tanks, and other Army vehicles simply can’t run without fuel and oil. Petroleum based products, such as oil, fuel, and compressed gas, need special storage and handling. At the STC we have experienced staff to show you how to supervise and manage the reception, storage, and shipping of petroleum based products.
At the STC, your Soldiers can gain more experience in many areas of petroleum distribution, handling, and storage through specific task training. During their rotation the 92F’s will perform petroleum accounting, operate petroleum distribution equipment, conduct Refuel on the Move operations, take emergency precautions to prevent accidents, and possibly conduct air refueling operations or “hot refuels”.
Maintaining Army work places and living areas in a sanitary and safe fashion helps to prevent illness. Water Treatment Specialists are primarily responsible for supervising or performing the installation and operation of water purification systems. Water storage and distribution is also a part of day-to-day operations for a water section.
At the STC, we have experienced staff to help assist your Soldiers in tasks needed for the battlefield. During their rotation they will conduct water reconnaissance, site preparation, water treatment activities, operate water treatment equipment, conduct distribution operations, and ensure water quality analysis testing and verification are completed. They may even have a chance to bottle the water they purify.

All Soldiers need to remain proficient in basic warrior skills that allow them to shoot, move, and communicate. At the STC, we take this training to the next level by integrating warrior task training and battle drills into the field training exercise while your Soldiers conduct MOS training. This gives the Soldiers a complete training environment that tests their overall abilities for future combat operations. At the STC, we offer a great selection of simulators including HMMWV Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT), MRAP Egress Trainer, Engagement Skills Trainer (EST 2000), Virtual Convoy Operation Trainer (VCOT), and much more.
